Chorlton's Big Green Festival, Apr 16th 2011. Includes clips of the music played; Mr Bloom from CBeebies entertaining the children; some of the groups playing; the bike group, Les Velobici; the fairground organ and the charity shop fashion show
On Friday April 5th 2013 we finally finished installing the greenhouse. The doors were fitted eventually (after taking them on and off three times and starting from scratch) and a pathway of paving flags was installed which would be wide enough for wheelchair users.
Thursday 21st March 2013 was very cold. It didn't stop Good Neighbours from putting on a stall next to Chorlton Post Office, and in front of the Post Box café at lunchtime which allowed us to put up a banner and a table with leaflets to promote Chorlton Good Neighbours.
On our usual gardening day, Friday morning, Mar 15th, we attempted to make some progress in putting up the Good Neighbours greenhouse. The weather was cold and very wet so we eventually gave up, leaving it with frozen fingers and soaked to the skin.
On a cold damp Friday morning in March 2013 the Good Neighbours gardening group in Chorlton, Manchester started to assemble the newly purchased B&Q 10'x8' greenhouse with toughened glass (£904 inc. delivery).
