Today saw the end of this academic year.  Everyone is proud of our achievements this year; 2011-2012 was very successful for us.  Well done to everyone who won individual medals in today’s Awards Assembly – we gave out over 70 trophies in total!  A special ‘Well Done’ also goes to Alliyah and to Mason who won our Pupil of 2012 and Mr Ashton’s Headteacher Award.

EVERYONE today went home with a medal to celebrate our special year and to mark the start of The Olympic Games this week.  All medals were engraved with ‘LKPS 2012′ – we hope that you all like them.
Finally, we need to say a huge THANK YOU to parents who helped raise the money to buy all of the awards we gave out today.  Money from our Summer Fair helped pay for some of the trophies, as well as some of the money we raised for drinks.  Although we spent over £500 in total on all of our awards today we think that it is money well spent.  Turn out to our Awards Assembly was FABULOUS and our hall was packed full of parents and carers.  It is a great way to end a busy year!
Please remember that school is now closed until September 6th, however our school office will be open on 7th, 9th, 21st and 23rd August between 10am and 2pm for you to place orders, collect uniforms etc.
