Do you have what it takes to be a trainee journalist at the BBC?
They are looking for good writers, without a professional broadcasting background, who can help us reflect our widely differing audiences.
A one year paid scheme which trains you to become professional journalists. You will be working throughout the UK gaining invaluable experience and creating a great networking base.
They will be holding a launch night at MediaCityUK, Salford Quays on: Monday 26th September 2011, (after 4pm), which will inform you of the scheme as well as the opportunity to take part in a few workshops designed to help you apply and hopefully be successful in gaining a place on the covered Trainee Scheme.
To be eligible for a place on the launch night you have to be over 18 years old, have a passion for journalism and live in the Northwest.
If you are interested in registering for a place send your CV with a covering letter explaining why you should attend the launch night to: ruth.akins@bbc.co.uk
Deadline to apply is: Wednesday 21st September 2011
Places are limited so get in touch asap!
