SuperSalfordSaturday is an annual festival that takes place in Chimneypot Park, in Langworthy, Salford. This year the festival is going be bigger and better than ever and will take place on Saturday 11th August. The festival has a very mixed intergenerational audience so we are looking for acts which appeal to a wide range of agegroups.
Every year the festival hosts a music and dance stage where we programme a variety of talent from Salford or from Salford organisations. We are looking for music and dance acts of all kinds to give us a varied, entertaining and enjoyable programme for the afternoon.

The festival runs from 12pm to 4pm and we want the stage to be fantastic, so we’re asking bands, choirs, dance groups, organizations and entertainers of all kinds to put your best foot forward and perform on the day.
While we anticipate that music and dance acts work best in the outdoor environment, we are open to any other suggestions that you think would work. So if you’ve got an idea for a comedy routine, a magic act, or anything slightly out of the ordinary that you think would work in the outdoor setting, feel free to come and talk to us about it.
We will supply the stage, p.a. system and a playback system for CDs. We will also provide your lunch and a drink for each band / group member. . We will need you to get your drums, equipment and musical instruments here and cover your own transport and travel costs.
