This morning saw another of our parents and carers workshops in Reception. The children invited their grown ups to come into class to learn and play with them!!! (How much fun is that!) All the grown ups that came had a great time and learnt a lot about phonics themselves as well as how to help their children at home.

We are very lucky to have a couple of sets of some special ‘Phonic Bags’ as these bags inclue a wide variety of activities, stories, games and songs to help children learn phonics at school and at home…. YES AT HOME.

After having a change to play with the bags in school, both the grown ups and the children know all about these bags and will be allowed to take one home each week to play with and learn. We just hope the grown ups let the children have a chance to play too.

A big thank you to everyone who was able to make it today and for leaving us some really great feedback. We hope that you enjoy using the bags at home and we look forward to seeing you in class next time.
